Mute Button Problem. We Need A Fix ASAP

When using the Unitron Moxi Blu hearing aids connected to an iPhone 12 Max - iOS16, the hearing aids do not mute when you press the Mute button on the App even though the line appears through the icon when the button is pressed. This problem occurs when in Automatic Mode or when using the TV Connector V2. When pressing the Mute button the colors on the iPhone screen react to the press, the line appears through the audio button but the audio sound does not mute which is most especially problematic when using the TV Connector (which otherwise works great.) If someone wants to talk to you but the TV audio is still coming through the hearing aids loud and clear, this makes conversation with those you’re sitting with impossible since pressing the Mute button does not mute the tv sound no matter how many times you press it. Please update the app and fix immediately or help now with a simple quick workaround while you are figuring out how to make the Mute button actually function properly the way it was intended.

Thank you for your feedback. You will notice that we have recently released an updated version of the app. You are correct, every time you open the app the hearing aids do have to reconnect. This is intentionally done to preserve the battery life of the hearing aids. We will take your feedback into consideration in future versions of the app.

Good app. Needs a tweak.

The app controls the hearing aids as expected. Hearing the phone ring is great. Allows me to keep the phone on silent.
Would be nice if app could pick up message alerts.
App really needs a setting to de-prioritize the TV connector program. There are times when I want to hear what is going on in the house without being overwhelmed by the TV. Especially when I first enter the range of the connector, like entering the house. Also I find it very annoying when I’m in another room and the hearing aids keep beeping as the app cycles between the automatic and TV connector programs.

Unitron Hearing Aids

I’ve only had my Hearing Aids for a little over a month and I’m extremely Happy with them!!! I went to my appointment a couple of weeks ago to make sure everything was working correctly, they had to change some things which made them even better. It’s Wonderful not just for me but I’m sure my Dogs appreciate the fact that I don’t need to have the TV Volume set up on 25 anymore, a Volume of 8-10 works Great!!
My Gratitude and Appreciation goes out to Dr. Tripp and his Staff for everything they’ve done for me in going through the process of getting my First Set of Hearing Aids so easy.
Thank you Unitron for making a Great Product that makes such a difference in my life and I’m sure in Others. The Hearing Aids are easy to take care of, put in and unless someone is actually looking for them, they’re Virtually Impossible to See!
