Gun control is an example, how many new laws have been proposed and added since GCA 1968? Only every time there is a mass shooting, based on the public reaction to that shooting. We've gone from '...the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed' to the mish-mash of federal, state and local laws we have now, based on emotional hysteria.

 

What about laws passed by men since the Constitution was written?

 

States can damn near do anything they want, as long as it doesn't violate their own State Constitution.

The federal fucking government on the other hand has limits, afforded by the Constitution.

And of course the nation has had law makers that are not creating law based upon the Rule of Law, rather Rule of Man.

Certain political powers have created law, and has overwhelmed SCOTUS in determing rather or not the law is Constitutional.

Believe it or not other POTUS's have loaded SCOTUS for their own agenda, and Social Security is one of those personal agendas.

Now, Kennedy's immigration policy created the gun control act of '68.

Furthermore, prohibition was another activist agenda...''Rule of Man'' and a loaded SCOTUS.

It will be a long time before SCOTUS has a loaded agenda of activism...and, that is the way this nation was intended to be.

Whelp...now in Ohio, when one needs to renew their Drivers license, , one can either keep the standard form, or get the new and improved version, the standard form is only good until 2022, then there will no longer be a ''standard form''

The day the Capitol and other government offices are closed to the public, will foretell the end of our republic. The White House is not open to the public without a scheduled appointment or a valid ticket for a tour. But almost anyone can get in if they are not threatening.

There are security points at the entrances to the Capitol building, there are also security personnel circulating, if someone decided to get violent, they would be taken down rather quickly.
